Robert Crease’s critical review of a new book on Ernst Jünger at Notre Dame Philosophical Reviews

The book is Vincent Blok’s Ernst Jünger’s Philosophy of Technology: Heidegger and the Poetics of the Anthropocene (Routledge, 2017). The review is here.  The review is indeed critical, which does seem to follow from the SEO catch-all of the title (Jünger, Heidegger, Poetics, Anthropocene), which then seems to enter in to the book itself. Nevertheless, he is an important figure in the background of Heidegger’s own notion of Gestell, hence one I’ll peruse when it hits my library.
